Warhol once said, “I should have just done the Campbell’s Soups and kept on doing them … because everybody only does one painting anyway.”
I hope that serlindsipity disagrees with Warhol on that point. I would love to see more from this artist.
EDIT: Turns out serlindsipity has a kickstarter, where she is hoping to raise money to get studio equipment to expand this series into 32 pictures. I guess she does agree with Warhol after all. I’m not sure if I should be happy that she’s working on more cans or sad that she’s not doing something new. Either way, it looks like a much better kickstarter than many I’ve seen. This isn’t like a videogame kickstarter where you can’t donate without questioning the sanity of trying to make the next GTA V with $50,000 and happy thoughts. If she gets the money I believe this project will be a big hit.
