North Dakota is a Black Hole to Media

North Dakota is some kind of black hole for news.  Nothing that happens there can ever be national news.

865,200 gallons of fracked oil spilled on Oct. 29, in Tioga, North Dakota.  That makes it the biggest oil spill in recent US history, and certainly the biggest oil spill coverup in US history.  It went completely unreported until 3 days ago, because of the government shutdown.  Since then, nobody has really covered it.

Also, why hasn’t the record-setting blizzard in North Dakota been getting much coverage?  The blizzard last week killed 75,000 cattle and hundreds of horses that didn’t have their winter coats yet (warning:  graphic images of dead horses and cattle at that link).
